Rand Paul Polls Strongest Against Hillary
WASHINGTON — Potential Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s lead over a crowded prospective Republican field has narrowed and her support has slipped below 50 percent, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll.
Rand Paul polls the strongest against her, where her lead over him has shrunk to 48 percent to 42 percent with 10 percent undecided.
It isn’t surprising at this point that Hillary has a lead over candidates from other parties since her name is more recognizable. As the primaries begin and names of others are recognized as much, her lead will continue to fall.
In the case of Rand Paul, who leads among independents, his lead should continue to grow as more independents and others learn about him.
